How to read a readiness score (and what it won't tell you)

Seven checks, one number, and the one thing votes can never buy their way into.

The standing is coverage-weighted: a category we could measure fully counts more than one we could barely read. That's why two products at '78' aren't identical. Look at the spine, not just the number.

Pass, warn and fail are information, never branding. Green isn't 'good vibes'. It's a threshold sourced to a real spec: OWASP for headers, Google's own bars for Core Web Vitals, the WHATWG parse rules for markup.

And the thing it will never tell you: whether people like it. Votes and comments live in a completely separate layer. No amount of community love moves the measured number, and no sponsorship buys it. That separation is the whole reason the number is worth anything.
