Terms of Service

You may use LaunchScaler to scan public websites, to list products you represent, and to browse the directory. You may not use it to attack, overload or probe sites you have no right to test, to submit misleading or infringing listings, or to scrape the directory at a scale that degrades it for others.

Automated access is limited to what our robots.txt allows, and search engines and AI crawlers are welcome within it. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

A scan reads the public version of a page and reports a readiness score with the evidence behind each check. It is an automated assessment, provided as-is: a snapshot of what was served at the time of the scan, not a guarantee about your site, its security, or its ranking.

You are responsible for acting on (or ignoring) what a report says. A standing carries the date it was last verified; re-scan after you ship a fix to keep it current.

Launching a product and listing it are free. A product can be listed before its maker has an account: we scan its site and write the listing from what the site publishes. When you launch, claim or edit a listing, you confirm you have the right to represent that product and let us show its details publicly.

We may correct or remove a listing that is inaccurate or infringing, or that doesn’t meet the bar a product must pass to be listed. Measured readiness is never for sale. See Payments.

You don't need an account to browse or scan. You need one to launch or claim a product, vote, comment, follow or buy. You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you submit through it. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us about any unauthorised use.

You can close your account at any time: email support@launchscaler.com from the address you signed up with, and we’ll delete the account and the data tied to it, except purchase records the law requires us to keep. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Paid products (Premium launch, the review article, the full audit, Featured, Watch, the content engine and skipping the badge) buy a launch day, written copy, a deeper report, a placement, ongoing checks, generated articles or a listing without the badge requirement. None of them changes a product's measured readiness verdict. A paid listing is scored on the same bar as a free one, and a review we were paid to write says so on the article.

Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Recurring plans (Watch and the content engine) renew until cancelled. One-time purchases are charged once. Dodo Payments processes payments as our merchant of record, so Dodo is the seller named on your receipt. A free trial can be cancelled before it converts and nothing is charged. No refunds: everything you buy is delivered and consumed upfront. A published review stays published, and a paid launch day that is no longer available moves to the next open day at no charge.

LaunchScaler is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions made on the basis of a scan, or for the availability, policies or outcomes of any other site we publish to for you or send you to.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows the last update, and where the law requires it we'll tell account holders. If you keep using LaunchScaler after a change, you accept the updated terms.
