Terms of Service

You may use LaunchScaler to scan sites you own or are authorised to assess, to list products you represent, and to browse the directory. You may not use it to attack, overload, or probe sites you have no right to test, to submit misleading or infringing listings, or to scrape the directory at a scale that degrades it for others.

Automated access outside any published API is not permitted. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

A scan reads the public version of a page and reports a readiness score with the evidence behind each check. It is an automated assessment, provided as-is: a snapshot of what was served at the time of the scan, not a guarantee about your site, its security, or its ranking.

You are responsible for acting on (or ignoring) what a report says. A standing carries the date it was last verified; re-scan after you ship a fix to keep it current.

Listing a product is free. By listing, you confirm you have the right to represent the product and grant us permission to display its details and its measured readiness score publicly. Listings are created by scanning and persist independently of any account until claimed.

We may correct, demote, or remove a listing that is inaccurate, infringing, or fails the published quality bar. Measured readiness is never for sale. See Payments.

You do not need an account to browse or scan. You need one to claim a listing, comment, or purchase. You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you submit through it. Keep your sign-in method secure and let us know of any unauthorised use.

You may close your account at any time; doing so removes the account data associated with it.

Paid products (featured placement, a commissioned review, the submission service, and Watch) buy reach and depth. None of them changes a product's measured readiness verdict: a paid listing is scored on exactly the same bar as a free one, and commissioned or featured placements are always labelled as such.

Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Recurring plans (such as Watch) renew until cancelled; one-time purchases are charged once. Payments are handled by our payment processor; refunds follow the terms shown at checkout.

LaunchScaler is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions made on the basis of a scan, or for the availability, policies, or outcomes of any third-party destination we help you submit to.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date below, and where required, we will notify account holders. Continuing to use LaunchScaler after a change means you accept the updated terms.
