SEO & AEO readiness audit
Is your site ready to be seen by people and by AI?
One audit scores whether search engines can rank you and whether answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude can read, trust and cite you. Seven deep checks and the Agentic Browsing factor. A URL is all we need.

What we measure
Seven checks for search, and one for the machines
Every audit runs the same fixed bar. Most checks serve both readers (a ranking crawler and an answer engine), but a few belong to one. The tag on each names its primary lens.
Search
BothWhether search engines can find, read and rank the page.
AI visibility
AEOWhether answer engines cite you when they should.
Backlinks
SEOWho links to you, and whether those links carry weight.
Security
BothHeaders, TLS, and what an attacker sees first.
Compliance
BothConsent, policy pages, and the disclosures you owe.
Does it work
AEOLinks, forms and flows that fail silently.
Speed & visual
SEOHow fast it loads and how it renders at every size.
Agentic Browsing
AEOA factor, not a check: can an AI agent actually drive your site (reach the content, complete a flow) the way a browsing model would on a user's behalf.
Staying ready is the product
The audit is free. Keeping it true isn't automatic.
A score is a snapshot. Sites drift: a redesign drops a tag, a deploy breaks a form, a competitor out-cites you in AI answers. Watch re-runs this exact audit on a schedule and emails you a diff the moment a check moves, so you hear about a regression before your traffic does.
- Scheduled re-scansWeekly or daily: the same seven checks, on autopilot.
- Emailed diff reportsWhat moved since last time, and by how many points.
- Regression alertsA ping the instant a check drops below the bar.

The audit, in plain terms
Written to be quoted by you, and by the answer engines that read this page.
What is a readiness audit?
A readiness audit is an automated inspection of a live website against a fixed bar of quality checks: search visibility, AI answer-engine visibility, backlinks, security, compliance, whether flows actually work, and speed. It returns a score out of 100 per check with the evidence behind each verdict, so you see exactly what a search engine, an answer engine, or a first-time visitor sees when they arrive. The only input is your URL.
What is AEO (answer engine optimization)?
AEO is optimizing a site so that AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google's AI Overviews) can read your content, trust it, and cite it in their answers. Where traditional SEO earns a ranked link, AEO earns a mention inside the answer itself. It depends on clean, crawlable HTML, clear structured content, factual passages an engine can quote, and a site an AI agent can actually navigate.
How is AEO different from SEO?
SEO optimizes for a ranked list of blue links a person clicks; AEO optimizes for being the source an AI answer cites when it responds directly. They share foundations (crawlability, fast clean pages, trustworthy signals), but AEO adds requirements: content an engine can extract as a passage, machine-readable structure, and pages a browsing agent can traverse without breaking. Our audit measures both in one pass.
How often should I re-scan my site?
A one-time audit tells you the state today. Because sites drift (a redesign drops a meta tag, a dependency change breaks a form, a new page ships without structured data), most teams re-scan weekly. Watch, our subscription, re-runs the same audit on a schedule and emails you a diff whenever a check moves, so you learn about a regression before your traffic does.
Do I need an account to run an audit?
No. The audit takes a URL and nothing else: no signup, no credit card, no form. Deriving everything from the live site is the whole premise. What we measure is what any visitor or crawler would encounter, not what a form says about you.
Is the audit free?
Yes, and it stays free and complete forever. The full seven-check report costs nothing. The paid product is Watch: scheduled re-scans, emailed diffs and regression alerts. Watch changes how often you're checked, never how you're scored.
